Things To Do In Goa in 2 Days Trip

In this blog you will come across 5 best things to do in Goa in 2 days trip.

Life is short and the world is wide. When you travel you realize what a tiny place you occupy in this world which is far bigger than your problems. Every trip is special and the one which you take with your friends is even more special. This time my buddy and I went on a two day trip to Goa to celebrate some moments before her leaving the country.

Things To Do In Goa in 2 Days Trip- Goa Beach Sunset

Well, Goa is a beautiful state. People know this place for its serene beaches and a bohemian culture but the history of Goa is far wider than one can imagine. There are several places to see in Goa.

We started our journey on Friday by train ‘Mandovi Express‘ from Dadar, Mumbai station. We boarded the train at 7:30 am and reached Thivim station around 9:00 pm since the train was usually 2-3 hours late. You can find a list of trains from Mumbai to Goa which you can board comfortably under affordable price. Flying to Goa is also an option if you want to save time, but this all depends upon the budget for your trip. Well, there are various stations in Goa where you can land, but the station where you should end your journey should be according to which part of Goa you are planning to explore. The state is divided into two districts: North Goa and South Goa.

The below stations are the nearest one depending upon the district you want to explore.

Thivim: For North Goa

Madgaon: For South Goa

After reaching Thivim around 9:00 PM, we took a tuk-tuk to our hostel ‘Folklore‘. Please note that the tuk-tuk fare is quite higher than what you expect. We paid Rs.500 for the ride from Thivim station to our hostel. Well, you can also take public transport to commute, but yet again it will be time-consuming and tiring.

Yes, I know for a non-technical person it seems intimidating to start your own website, but trust me with the power of CMS it makes it very easy for you to build your website from scratch and maintain the blog, you can use WordPress, I am also using that for my website. Also, you need to go to several tutorials on youtube on how to build your site in WordPress. But I would rather suggest buying an online course on Udemy related to this, let me share the link of the online course which helped me to build my website, they explain it in a very detailed and basic way. – https://www.udemy.com/share/101Y0c/
